Geofutures is an independent company providing data science consultancy and online data visualisation.
We specialise in spatial data analysis and mapping, offering insight into what’s happening and where.
From social and economic data, political and opinion data, property and financial performance data to environmental and land use information, we have built a 12-year pedigree on analysing high-volume datasets and helping organisations make decisions.
Geofutures was founded by Mark Thurstain-Goodwin as a spin-out from UCL’s Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis, and remains close to the academic community.
Experienced data analyst Gaynor Astbury leads our research and data management function, while technical architect Si Parker is the controlling mind behind our data processing and online delivery.
The company has created a specialist gambling research hub led by Heather Wardle, who previously headed NatCen’s gambling research team and conducted the influential Gambling Prevalence Survey.
